Unemployment in Indonesia is increasing in number, both educated and uneducated unemployment. As for one of the causes of the problem of educated unemployment is the number of scholars aiming only to find work, not create jobs. The influence of entrepreneurship education in higher education is one of the important factors to foster and develop entrepreneurial spirit and behavior. Students are now required to be able to utilize the knowledge they have acquired to support and create entrepreneurial activities. Now students are expected to be agents of change that can be useful in community empowerment. This is not an easy thing to achieve.
The purpose of this study was to analyze the factors of self-success, tolerance of risk, and freedom to work towards the motivation of students majoring in management in STIE. Muhammadiyah Tanjung Redeb in entrepreneurship.
The results of this study self-efficacy has no effect on motivation in entrepreneurship because it shows a t value of 0.579 with a probability of 0.571. This significant value is greater than 0.50. Risk tolerance does not have an influence on motivation in entrepreneurship because it shows a t value of -1.278 with a probability of 0.220. This significant value is greater than 0.050. Freedom of work has no effect on student motivation in entrepreneurship because it shows a t value of 1.511 with a probability of 0.150. This significant value is greater than 0.050.
